Monday's thoughts.... "Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air."

As the rain drips slowly on my tin roof I look at all these gorgeous images in my picture file (most of them are courtesy of pinterest)... Each an inspiration in its own right...Things that I love, things that have meaning to me...Baking (a love passed down from my Nan and Mum), interior design and beautiful quotes all things that make me smile and my heart very happy.  About this time every year I go through the whole am I still doing what I love, could I be doing more, do a need a change????? and I think the answer to these questions are always YES!Yes! Yes!  The last 6 months has had so much change for me and my little family...things that I have shared with you and other things that just change the way you need to lead your life every day...So over the next few weeks I am hoping to be a little more present here on my blog and I would LOVE you to drop by and say hello...  If you want to chat to me about anything you can always email me....Ralph Waldo Emerson is one of my favourite poets..... so here is just a little inspiration for your Monday ....

Exquisite .....

My hazel eyed girl received all the beautiful images from the photographers last week. 500 + photos and her exquisite album... Katie and Matt captured the day how it was, full of love, laughter and joy....Tiny details in every photo that will makes us laugh and cry for a long time to come....Of course I want to put them all over the walls but it is so hard to choose :) so here is another sneak peak into our life...

Find Joy in the Ordinary ....

It is funny you know how much a part of my life blogging has been for nearly 6 years now.... I just had a lovely comment on one of my older posts from a sweet lady that had just found me for the first time....but I also have friends that have been with me since the start... What you see in the pages of my blog is me, I live my life with a very open heart and I love small details....I found a beautiful saying on pinterest yesterday ...Find Joy in the Ordinary.... so today I am going to share something extremely special with you all...I thought this was fitting as you see we are just an ordinary family but on the 12.12.12.... something extremely magical happened..... I think this will make you laugh and cry but I am sure for a moment it will bring you joy...That is what I always want for you all ...now click on a perfect day!!!!!

February .... one month has disappeared already

It is already February 3 can anyone actually believe that...My hazel eyed boy has started his last year of school.  My hazel eyed girl is preparing to start her third year of uni and has just started a new website with her jewellery this last week...  I am slowly settling into work... with loads of ideas rattling around my head....The start of this year has definitely been different than what I thought it would be but I am sure with hard work and lots of smiling this year is going to be marvelous .....
