Kirstie is finally feeling better and was back to school today after having tonsillitis... She gets so run down the poor little thing... I just finished another wonderful big order for Lily-G and I was so very happy with it... Packaging them up in there little boxes and sending them off is a favourite job of mine... Now I am wading through a mess all over my workbench to start some more orders tomorrow...What a wonderful and enchanting job I have..... It constantly makes me smile...Please drop by I love hearing from you........

Another sweet verse

Well poor Kirstie has tonsillitis again so I am trying to get some work done but be with her as well....Anyway I bought a sweet card and this was the verse it had on it and it really sums up how I feel about life and the world.....
"If my heart can become pure and simple like that of a child, I think there can be no greater happiness than this"
inside it said
LIVE, LOVE, Laugh !!!!

Rainy Days!!!!!

I have been working pretty hard on shop orders this week and it has been easy with great company (Angela) and the sound of gorgeous rain on my tin roof. I had to mentioned a wonderful shop I am making orders for called Lily-G. I had the pleasure of talking to her and her husband the other day and they were so uplifting, I was smiling from ear to ear by the end of the conversation...They were so supportive of me and my product. Judy has an amazing blog so go check it out....

A smile

Well I love changing my little blackboard with all different inspirational sayings but I must say this is one of my favourites... No matter what is happening in our days we all know a smile makes a difference.....
Another one this week is from a book I am reading....
Brick walls are there for a reason. They give us a chance to show how badly we want something...

Favourite colours

I LOVE glass cloches, just beautiful!!!!!! and the lovely soft texture of seam binding in soft shades of sea blue and off white.... The end of the holidays are nearly here and I have a lot of work a head of me in the next few months... I want to get some sweet little shutters for my doorway and paint my floor in my studio (if my DH lets me) and change the photos on my inspiration board and start to plan my Spring and Christmas range of charms...So many delightful things ahead....Please drop by and tell me what you are all up to......

my inspiration - my world!!!

I was just going through some photos and playing with them... I know you might think I have more photos of my daughter then my son but it is only because he doesn't really like having his photo taken and he loves to make silly faces, as boys do.... Anyway my sweet, nearly 15 year old daughter has taught me so much about life... She amazes me with her constant sparkle... I told them both the other day that really they are my dream come true. Being a mum is the greatest gift I know I will ever be given and some days I think I am failing miserably... I can't believe how I physically feel the pain when they go through things you really wish they didn't have to....It is as though you physically go through the teenage years all over again (must say some of it I really don't enjoy reliving twice - LOL!!!!)....So to all us mums out there lets try and celebrate every up and down with a smile..............

Such a pretty place

Well I am back from a glorious few days at the coast and it was very hard to come home I must say. These images are taken at a place called Byron Bay which is the most easterly part of Australia... We stayed about 30 minutes north of here and spent a lovely day walking, and watching the amazing whales at play in the ocean below the lighthouse, it was quiet incredible how close they come to the shore. The weather was just so, so lovely, a little chilly to swim but warm enough to really enjoy the day...
