ITS NEARLY A YEAR

Well early Saturday morning here in Australia and the last few days have been very hot. Loads and loads of work on at the moment but having Angela here a couple of mornings a week has been an amazing help.... I can't believe it is nearly a year since I started this blog and I must say I have loved the journey, it has been amazing... So I want to do something special for all my blogging friends with a give-away. I have a really nice issue of a decorating magazine produced in Australia that features a gorgeous house all in white tones.... I love it... Also one of my new shaped charms that are yet to be released.... TEXTURE

Some times I just love to take photos of texture, especially beautiful raw linen, my favourite. This was a sweet little bouton (button) bag I made for a shop in New Zealand. Old pearl buttons are another favourite of mine. There shimmering presence with old linen thread wrapped around the tiny little holes looks just amazing.

My love of soap and all things pretty!!!

I have a small window sill just about my sink in my laundry and I must say I have a bit of an obsession for soap especially French olive oil type soaps.... I change this little display quiet often and the pretty little bottles were some I got on my last holiday to the coast...

Back to WORK!!!!!!!!

Hi dear Friends
Well it was finally time for me to go back to work after a long but absolutely wonderful time with the kids over Summer... This year I am definitely going to try and take it a little easier as by the time last year was finished my body was screaming NO MORE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! I have a lot of work over the next couple of weeks but then I am hoping I will get some time to work on some of the new things that are having a wild dance in my head as we speak..... I am so excited but can't give away too many secrets... My dear hubby spent all day Sunday building shelves in my laundry cupboard... I have white washed everything and will take a photo when it looks a little pretty and organised in there....
