I love it here

I am sitting here in my little studio this morning thinking of the long list of things I need to do today... My daughter has just left for school with her dad and I will drive my little boy to school soon... I need to have a shower as I slept horribly last night, too many things rushing around in my brain... My little retail catalogue is due to go out soon and I am so behind but I know I will get there... I sit here and think how lucky I am to have this space to change at my will... It makes me smile even though mostly when I am working hard it is a disaster area.... Loads of old paper, photos, pieces of glass, fabric and the list goes on... but it still makes me smile, even then... Anyway I best go and start this busy day...... Would love to hear from you all...

Mother's day charms

Here are 2 charms I didn't put on my web site and as Mother's Day is getting rather close now I thought I would show you through my blog... The tall one has the word Mother on the back and the heart has my dream on the front and on the back it has a mother and daughter image... If you would like one please email me. Loving what you do!!!!!!!!

Well it is very late Friday night and I am waiting to watch Veronica Mars with my daughter... I just wanted to share with you 2 orders that I sent off this week... Oh I am so lucky to be able to do what I do... It is sort of like creating little canvases behind glass.... I am having so much fun I just wish there was more hours in my day as the ideas are really endless... I have my retail catalogue out in early May (running a little behind at the moment) and hope to have a new range of charms called So French in May as well...

Busy, busy, busy

Well it is late Friday afternoon after a long week... Unfortunately I have been suffering from a yucky cold this week and found it hard to get through a load of orders plus occupy my beautiful kids and keep the house in order... I feel so very blessed with all the wonderful support I have to my web site and the items I offer... This week my little bag (similar to this one) came out in the May edition of Romantic Homes... Here in Australia it takes a while to get things so I would love to hear from anyone that has seen it as I won't get to see it for awhile yet... I am so lucky for the support of Romantic Homes as my business has grown a lot since the February edition... I have a tiny little old slate in my room where I always have a quote to inspire me... ...I so believe this... I always knew from when I was little that I needed to do something creative...Something to challenge the happy, blissful place inside your mind and I must say I am living that dream now...

Happy Easter to you all

Happy Easter to you all.. It is early Good Friday morning here in my tiny little town in Australia. It is sunny and fairly warm I must say for this time of the year... It hasn't been a good start as my hubby has been sick all night and now my little Andrew has woken up with a heavy head cold..... We are having a quiet Easter at home here just relaxing and doing a few things in the yard and I will do a little work as well as I am a little behind this week... There will be the traditional Easter hunt early Sunday morning and hopefully we will get a chance to have a picnic sometime over our 4 day break... I seem to be finding it hard to keep on top of the house work lately so will try to think of ways of organising myself better so I don't get so stressed about my messy house while creating... Working at home is wonderful and I wouldn't have it any other way but I must say when the house is messy it is hard to concentrate.. More news tomorrow about new things being added to my web site...

Bedroom nearly finished

Well we spent a bit of time on the weekend finally fixing the bed and building it a base so we could put the new mattress on it. There is still little touches I want to add like lovely big cakes of french soap in my old ironstone bowl, more old mirrors and something else for the wall... I am heading interstate for my neice's wedding in May so I am hopeful of picking up some big French linen pillow cases (at a favourite antique shop) as it definitely needs more pillows.... The gorgeous little petticoat a dear friend bought me for my birthday... so, so sweet... I would also love a new light fitting when the budget permits... My house is very tiny and my bedroom leads into my lounge room or living area so having both rooms the same colour now looks so much nicer....
